Shefa Ul Karim

Academic & Professional Journey
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum and Mining Engineering and a master’s in Petroleum Geophysics. During my studies, I worked in several research assistant roles. I began my career with an international humanitarian organization, advancing from officer to manager in a common logistics platform. I have developed and lead capacity-building programs to strengthen humanitarian logistics and build community resilience in logistics capacity. Later, I worked as a data analyst and data coordinator on two data survey research projects.
Research & Data-Driven Vision
My passion for research and exploring Earth’s subsurface led me to pursue a second Master’s in Applied Geosciences at RWTH Aachen University, Germany. My research goal is integrating multidisciplinary approach and computational techniques to create subsurface model to improve in qualitative and quantitative interpretations to reduce uncertainties in prospect analysis and mapping. I am currently enhancing my expertise in Python and GIS tools to drive cutting-edge geoscientific research.

Entrepreneurial Spirit
I co-founded several ventures driven by purpose and sustainability:
Etoffee: Fashion with authenticity.
Medi House: Medical supplies and logistics.
Easy Electrics: Electrical products outlet.
Easy Transport: Seamless mobility service.
Keyboard and Coding: Non-profit tech learning platform.
These ventures reflect my passion for innovation, sustainability, and social impact.
Why I Do What I Do
I believe in a world driven by thoughtful innovation, sustainable solutions, and community empowerment. My journey is fueled by an unwavering passion for knowledge, a knack for problem-solving, and a commitment to creating lasting value—whether through research, humanitarian work, or entrepreneurial ventures.
Let’s connect and explore new possibilities together! 🚀
